The Essential Layers of a Village

Each VURBS village must include:

  1. Soil & Food — Greenhouses, farms, gardens, food forests.

  2. Natural Assets — Parks, trails, water stewardship systems.

  3. Economic Layer — Retail, trading posts, maker spaces, co-working hubs.

  4. Social Infrastructure — Meeting halls, community centers, gathering spaces.

  5. Essentials — Daycare, healthcare, education services.

Public-Private Partnership Model

How the (P3) Model Works:

  • Land Contribution: Farmers or landowners contribute underused land to a non-profit trust.

  • Government Role: Provide capital funding, planning tools, and blueprints; oversee RFQ/RFP developer process.

  • Private Sector Role: Build and maintain infrastructure; operate community assets under a membership model reinvesting profits locally.
